From Mövenpick Resort Phan Thiet, guests can easily design day trips to explore the region’s most iconic landmarks:
Known as the “Little Sahara of Vietnam,” Bau Trang Sand Dunes is one of the most iconic natural attractions in Phan Thiet. Towering white sand dunes stretch as far as the eye can see, creating an otherworldly landscape that contrasts beautifully with the surrounding blue skies and tranquil freshwater lakes. Moreover, the scenery changes throughout the day, making sunrise and sunset especially magical times to visit.
Adventure seekers can hop on an exhilarating ATV or jeep tour to race across the rolling dunes, while photographers will find endless opportunities to capture breathtaking panoramic views. During lotus season, the nearby Bàu Trắng Lake blooms with vibrant pink flowers, adding another layer of beauty to this remarkable destination.

For a glimpse into the region’s rich maritime heritage, head to the charming Mui Ne Fishing Village, where generations of local fishermen continue traditions that have shaped coastal life for centuries. Arriving early in the morning offers the best opportunity to witness colorful basket boats and fishing vessels returning from the sea, bringing in fresh catches that supply local markets and restaurants.
The lively waterfront is filled with vibrant scenes of seafood trading, fishermen repairing nets, and locals going about their daily routines. Beyond its cultural appeal, the fishing village also offers fantastic photo opportunities, with hundreds of colorful boats dotting the bay against the backdrop of the rising sun. One of the authentic experiences that perfectly captures the spirit and traditions of Phan Thiet.

Nature lovers and culture enthusiasts alike will appreciate a day trip to TTC World Ta Cu, one of Binh Thuan Province’s most famous attractions. Rising more than 600 meters above sea level, the mountain is home to lush tropical forests, scenic hiking trails, and the historic Linh Son Truong Tho Pagoda.
One of the highlights is the scenic cable car ride, offering sweeping views of forests, countryside, and coastline as you ascend toward the summit. At the top, visitors can admire the impressive 49-meter-long reclining Buddha statue, one of the largest in Southeast Asia, and enjoy the peaceful surroundings of ancient temples nestled among giant trees.

A visit to Fairy Stream offers one of the most unique nature experiences in Mui Ne. Unlike a typical hiking trail, this gentle stream invites visitors to walk barefoot through cool, ankle-deep water while surrounded by dramatic red and white sandstone cliffs sculpted by centuries of natural erosion.
As you follow the winding stream, you’ll pass bamboo groves, tropical greenery, and striking rock formations that create a dreamlike landscape unlike anywhere else in Vietnam. The peaceful atmosphere makes Fairy Stream an ideal escape from the bustling beaches, while its colorful canyon walls provide stunning backdrops for photography. Suitable for visitors of all ages, this easy and refreshing walk is a perfect addition to any Phan Thiet itinerary.

Few experiences showcase the agricultural heritage of Bình Thuận quite like visiting a dragon fruit farm, located just a short drive from Mövenpick Resort Phan Thiet. The region is known as Vietnam’s “dragon fruit capital,” producing some of the country’s highest-quality fruit thanks to its sunny climate and fertile soil.
Walking through rows of vibrant cactus-like plants offers visitors a fascinating glimpse into local farming traditions. Depending on the season, guests may have the opportunity to watch farmers harvest fresh dragon fruit, learn about cultivation techniques, and even taste the fruit straight from the orchard. If you visit in the evening, you may also witness thousands of lights illuminating the farms—a unique technique used to stimulate off-season flowering, creating a spectacular sight unlike any other. With this activity, travelvers will get more opportunities to get closer to farming community of Phan Thiet.
